You Are Poetry is a photographic project created in the Curonian Spit between 2021 and 2024. Over four years, it grew beyond a photographic series into a gentle practice of connecting with the human inner world.

The project was born from a desire to look beyond appearance and social roles. Every encounter became an invitation to pause, listen inward, and reconnect with what makes us human: sensitivity, vulnerability, longing, love, loss, and the desire to be seen and accepted.

The photographs were created in collaboration with people whose personal stories became part of the project. The landscape of the Curonian Spit—its dunes, wind, and endless horizon—accompanied the creative process as a symbol of transformation, impermanence, and self-discovery.

You Are Poetry invites us not only to look at the people in the photographs, but also to recognize ourselves through them. It is a reminder that beneath all our differences lies something universal: our humanity, our connection, and our capacity to feel.
